Talking With People
I went to the bar My Way. There were no customers. The bar owner, Jannet said, “Everyone might have gone to a music festival in Bakkum”. I asked the why she hired a lady who can’t speak Dutch. She is going to Spain for 4 months so she had no option. The salary is the same for all staff members, 12.5EUR per hour. A friend Erol came in. He treated me to a beer. We talked a lot. He said, “The Netherlands is a better country than Britain”. He grew up there until he was 22 years old. I ate too much because I had stir-fried pork and veggies, ramen noodles, and bread for dinner. I went to bed around 10pm.
