Wine glasses and dishes on the table at restaurant Hiroshima Japan

Just A Birthday

It was my birthday yesterday but I worked as usual at home. I finished one of the annoying tasks but I still have four terrible tasks left. In the evening, I and Eri went to an izakaya, Harapeko-gekijo. We had cheesy bread gratin, salmon egg spaghetti etc. We also had a bottle of red wine. It was not so bad, however, the restaurant staff were unfriendly. We came back home around 8 p.m. I continued to have dinner, that was chikuzen-ni and bamboo shoot rice. I fell asleep at 11 p.m. maybe.

Heads-up! These aren't journal entries – they're crafted essays written in English.
Thoughtful, personal, and cross-cultural.
