Talking With A Dutch Guy
I cooked tomato spaghetti sauce during the daytime. These days, I prepare dinner before going out because I often collide with a sharemate when using the kitchen. The previous sharemate did not cook in the evening, so I had to adjust in case she was using the kitchen. I went to the bar My Way. I met Frank. I felt sorry because I had received a message from him a couple of days ago but had not replied to it. When I was drinking, Anjo talked to me. He could not speak English, but he wanted to express his feelings about his mother’s death. Rolf helped translate from Dutch to English for us. When I was about to leave, Frank talked to me. His English is easy to understand, so we talked a lot. He told me he had bought a secondhand car, a Crown, from a Japanese car dealer. It cost €19,000 (about 3,500,000 JPY), and he also has to pay an additional €4,000 for shipping. He explained that if he bought that car in the Netherlands, the price would be three times higher. Anyway, it was a nice chat. I had tomato spaghetti for dinner. I fell asleep around 10:30 pm, but I woke up at 2 am. Eventually, I could not get back to sleep.
