My Mother Got Covid-19

I got a message from my mother saying that she had caught Covid-19. We were supposed to go on a short trip the next day, so we had to cancel it. I contacted the reserved hotel and my sister as well. I did the laundry myself anyway. Just after 7 pm, I went to the bar Nagomi, and then I moved to the karaoke bar Michi. The bar owner and regular customers were sad to see me go. I will leave Japan in 10 days. When I had stir-fried horumon, I felt a stomachache, so I went to the restroom and relieved myself. I recovered and then went to the bar Ajia-tei. To my delight, the bar owner, Oki-san, displayed my small book at the cashier area. He even put up a sign that read, “Interesting book: 500 yen!”. I had only one bottle of beer and went to the sea for the second consecutive night. I stopped by a supermarket and got a discounted sandwich and a canned beer. I lay down on the seaside embankment. The moon was shining, and I was deeply moved by it. The moon was beautiful. I went to bed just after 2 am.
