Mussels Night
I am getting better at sticking to my daily routine and skipping fewer tasks. I can clearly see that I am doing better than when I was staying in Japan. I made progress on writing a letter to a Vietnamese friend and writing a blog article. In the evening, I went to Stiefel because the owner, Maria, had told me that she would serve mussels for me. They hold a mussels dinner event every year, but I was not in the Netherlands at that time this year. That is why she offered to prepare a special meal for me. The mussels were just as delicious as last year, but I was worried that they might contain hard pieces of sand that could damage my teeth. In the end, I felt exhausted from worrying about it. I want to keep my teeth healthy! Anyway, the mussels were served with french fries. The portion was generous, and I was completely satisfied. The bill came to over €50. It was more expensive than I had expected, but I was happy to have had such a great evening. I returned home and went straight to bed without taking a shower.
