Going to Math School
I went to a math cram school for adults as a trial lesson. The place was a completely lonely elderly home. The room’s smell and temperature were not comfortable. He seemed to be about 70. He was kind, but I did not want to continue the class long-term. After that, I visited a standing bar called Nagomi. They had a two-year anniversary event. When a customer makes a payment, they can have a game of rock, paper, scissors with the bar owner’s wife. If the customer wins, the payment is free. A draw costs 100 yen for every dish, and losing costs 200 yen as well. I had a draw, so my payment was only 200 yen (I had edamame and a bottle of beer). I came back home and brought my gift from Holland for my regular bar, Tachimachi-ya. There were none of my favorite people there, so I felt bored and sad. I left after an hour or so, then continued drinking at home. I fell asleep around 11 pm. It was a hot night, so it was hard to get to sleep.
