dutch memo and groceries in the blue basket at the supermarket

Errand for Landlords

The dawn is going to be later day by day. Holland’s severe winter will come soon. I had an interview for an employee. His impression was not so bad. My landlord Jan asked me to buy his needs because he and his wife got Covid-19 so they can’t go out. The shopping list was quite long and it was hand written. It was hard to read it. I explored some stores then showed the list directly to a shop clerk. Everyone was kind. I spent over an hour. The total was about 45EUR. I cooked beef steak, sliced potato, leftover Thai dishes etc., for dinner. I fell asleep around 10pm.

Heads-up! These aren't journal entries – they're crafted essays written in English.
Thoughtful, personal, and cross-cultural.
