English no need for Japanese
‘Why do so many Japanese learn English?’
I was questioned by my English teacher.
Surely, she is a foreigner because if she were Japanese, she would not ask such a question.
Come to think of it, I have to agree with her question.
Most Japanese do not have opportunity to speak English.
Although, they learn English eagerly, they can’t speak English fluently, they are not even able to participate in daily conversation.
No wonder, in Japan, they can live without English, they are not troubled. In short, they don’t need English.
You know, ‘Necessity is the mother of invention’.
If they don’t have a mother, how come they got children?
