A Frustrating Bar Experience
I felt dull due to drinking too much. I went to the cafe Yamaneko as usual. It was full of customers, but I managed to find some time for reading. I came back home and worked on some computer tasks. Later, I went to an izakaya recommended by a man I met during a badminton activity. However, all the seats at the izakaya were reserved. I wandered around searching for a suitable bar and eventually went to the yakitori bar Tsukim-Ippai. They asked me to place my order via a QR code, but I did not have my mobile phone, so I requested to order verbally. A customer sitting next to me remarked, “Doesn’t he have a mobile phone?” The bar staff looked confused, which made me feel angry and uncomfortable. I only had a beer before leaving. My stomach felt bad because I had taken a laxative the previous day. I ate Chicken Tikka, which my mom got from a local event. I went to bed just before 11 pm, but I had stomach pain and had to use the restroom twice.
