A Day of Writing and Painting
In the afternoon, I took a shower. I found that taking a shower during the daytime while sober is better than taking one at night after drinking. I had planned to go to a movie theater, but I realized that my housemate was not home, so I stayed home. I wrote a proposal for my solo exhibition and continued painting new artwork. It seems to be getting better day by day. I visited the bar Stiefel. There were some unfamiliar young women and a man there, which made me uncomfortable. I am not sure if they were the children of the butcher Hans. It was a public holiday called Ascension Day in the Netherlands, but I could not feel any special atmosphere. I had spaghetti for dinner.
