Watching Genuine Contemporary Art
I did not have breakfast for the first time in 4 or 5 days. I went to Seoul by Uber because Eri wanted to see a fireworks event. However, the location was too far, and we spent over an hour traveling, so we only visited the MMCA (National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art). I watched a work called The Class, created by the Thai artist Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook. I must say, it was fantastic. It reminded me of how interesting contemporary art can be. After that, around 7 pm, we visited a Japanese-style bar, but the quality was poor. We then moved to a local Korean restaurant. We ordered tofu pancakes, but due to a translation error, we received just fried tofu. It cost 1,000 JPY, making it the most expensive tofu I have ever had. We took another Uber back. The taxi driver was very fluent in English. He had studied in Australia for 10 years. His name was Kevin Lee. We talked a lot and exchanged contact information. When I arrived at my destination, I gave him a 10,000 KRW tip. I continued drinking in the hotel room and fell asleep around 1:30 am.
