Vietnamese Independence Day
I was still not in good condition, so I rested in the hotel room until evening. During that time, Eri went out somewhere. In the evening, I took a taxi and visited Hanoi Train Street. Unfortunately, since it was the Independence Day season, the train was not running. We visited several bars and had raw spring rolls. Finally, we visited a cafe. We bought a Vietnamese scarf and watched how local people enjoyed the parade. We felt jealous because Vietnamese people seemed to have a strong and healthy sense of patriotism. Japanese people do not usually have such a spirit. When I tried to return to the hotel, it was hard to get a Grab. Many roads were blocked due to the Independence Day events. We arrived at the hotel just after midnight. I took a shower and dove into bed. I was drunk, but my body condition still felt strange compared to normal.
