Trouble at the Next Table

I woke up just after 6 am on the sofa at my sister’s house. The kids were full of energy from early in the morning. I had a nice breakfast that my elder sister had cooked. She drove me back to my house around noon. I followed my daily routine and wrote a blog article. I have been thinking deeply about it. In the evening, I went to the bar Nagomi. At the next table, there was a group of four elderly people. While I was quietly drinking and reading, one of the men at that table suddenly lost his temper and stormed out of the bar. It made me curious, so I stopped reading and tried to find out what had happened. I spoke with the bar owner couple. They told me that the group often does sports like basketball and kayaking. I was surprised because, to me, this place feels like the last stop for hopeless drinkers. The bar owner gave me a piece of Ichijiku roll cake as a gift. I gave it to my mother. I continued my dinner at home. These days, I do not talk with my father. I went to bed around 11 pm.
