The Opening Party

I had a hangover but I had udon noodles for breakfast. I rested in the bed until after 4pm, then I left my house to go to TREEHOUSE NDSM in Amsterdam. I stopped by at an Asian supermarket and I bought Japanese curry roux and so forth. The opening started before 7 pm. My friend Christel and the landlord’s couple came. When I left home, the landlord Jan told me his poor health condition, even though he showed up! There was an artist’s tour. I wasn’t sure how much explanation to provide for my artworks. Actually, other artists provided very detailed and lengthy explanations for their artworks. I didn’t prepare any text, but I attempted to explain my artworks and did an art performance. I was nervous so, my knees were shaking. On the other hand, I recognized improvement for my English. Audiences’ reaction was positive. The landlord brought me to our house with their car. When I returned home around 11 pm, I didn’t eat or drink anything because I had two pieces of bread with chocolate syrup for the art performance. I fell asleep around midnight.
