The Last Family Gathering
I was sluggish because I had drunk heavily the previous night. However, my relatives came to my parents’ house. I had no energy, but I had several tasks to do. One of the tasks was filming sketchbooks featuring my self-portraits. I asked Rintaro to help me turn the pages for 1,000 JPY. In the evening, I went out to get some things for packing and bought a gift for my Vietnamese friend. I had dinner at home with my relatives: Kana and her husband and their two children, Nina and her child, and my parents. Kana shared a funny story about her child Rintaro called “The Wholesale Supermarket Incident.” We laughed so much. They left just before 9 pm. I went to bed just before 10 pm and packed for my departure from Japan for a while.
