The Izakaya Did Not Collapse
I painted for over an hour. I cannot remember the last time I painted for such a long period. I have to finish three paintings before leaving Japan. Around 4 pm, I went to Cafe Yamaneko. I read a book for an hour, as I usually do. After that, I went to the bar Nagomi. I had been worried whether the bar had closed or not. I asked the bar owner’s wife what had happened. She said that she had been away due to various circumstances. Anyway, I was relieved to hear that the bar was still open. I enjoyed its nice meals and atmosphere for the first time in a week. After I came back home, I had some small dishes such as tofu. I fell asleep just after 11 pm.
