The coffin on the tatami mat floor and people who wore black suits at Japanese funeral

The Funeral

I woke up at 2 am then I did a few daily routines, and worked a bit. After that, I went to Sukiya for breakfast. At 9:30 am, my parents, sisters and I went to a funeral hall. As it was a small funeral due to Covid-19, the smallest number of relatives attended. We just put on flowers in a coffin and then moved to a crematorium. We picked the bones from the ashes. My 5-year-old nephew said “bones are funny”. We laughed very much. Around 1 pm, we came back home and ate sushi and fried chicken for lunch. I felt unusually hungry. In the evening, we had BBQ at yard. I fell asleep just before 9 pm.
