Spending New Year’s Eve

I felt a slight hangover when I woke up around noon. I completed three paintings and also took photographs of them for my artist website. At around 6 pm, I went to a supermarket to buy sashimi and other items. I ate with my parents, but I had plans later, so I saved some room in my stomach. I went out around 9:20 pm and stopped by a convenience store. When I left the store, I ran into Mr. Yamasaki. We went to the bar Sanaya together, where there were six or seven customers. We watched the Red and White Song Battle, and it was a very pleasant time. At about 11 pm, we moved to the standing bar Nagomi, where the bar owner gave champagne to every table. We all counted down to the New Year, and it was the best New Year’s Eve I have ever had. We left around 1:30 am and tried to continue drinking, but Ajia-tei was closed, so we gave up. We said goodbye, but we made plans to drink again the next day at my parents’ house. I had soba noodles for a late-night meal, but I did not drink any alcohol. I fell asleep just before 3 am.
