She Goes Back to Japan
I brought Eri to Schiphol Airport. At 3 pm, when we were leaving home, Jan and Janine hugged Eri. They shed slight tears. I saw Eri off at the platform of Schiphol Station. I do not like endings, regardless of the situation. I realized that this feeling closely resembles my father’s personality. I came back to Castricum and then visited the bar My Way. Rolf told me that he had sent a farewell message to Eri. I appreciated such a warm gesture. I sank into a sentimental mood. However, I received an invoice from NS Train for Eri’s transportation cost, which was about 77 EUR. It made me feel depressed. I stopped by a supermarket and bought some food and a bouquet of roses. I gave the bouquet to the landlord couple as a token of appreciation for allowing Eri to stay at the house. I cooked creamy spaghetti for dinner. I also had bread. I went to bed around 9 pm. I was tired from living with someone.
