RIP Bernard
I had plans to join a Japanese off meeting at Amsterdam but the weather was bad. I took a rain check. I visited My Way instead. There is a portrait of the deceased whose appearance was familiar. I wondered if he was Bernard, who used to live in Japan and we talked a lot. A bartender Maria and her husband explained he had died last weekend. He treated me a drink only a week ago. It was hard to believe it. I know anyone could die, though. I had leftover Thai food for dinner. I dropped asleep around 10pm but I woke up at midnight. I wasn’t able to go back to sleep for over 2 to 3 hours. I thought about many things.
