Presenting My Artwork
I got out of bed around 5 am. I went to Tuin van Kapitein Rommel, which is located in front of Castricum Station, at 1 pm. I met Hella, who works as a director there. She showed me the space for displaying artworks and explained it to me. It looked more like a cafe than an art space. We talked and discussed my work for less than 30 minutes. After that, she sent me a message saying that my contemporary artworks shocked her. I wondered if my serious artworks might not be the right fit for such a space. I came back home and found that my Adobe subscription had expired. However, I did not want to pay the expensive renewal cost of 68,800 JPY, so I tried searching for alternatives. In the evening, I went to the bar My Way. It was a cloudy and rainy day. Ruud was in a good mood, and Jeff arrived soon after. When Jeff was leaving, he kissed Ruud on the mouth, not on the cheek! I could not stop laughing. Jeff also kissed me, but it was only on the cheek. Phew! Anyway, it was a fun and fulfilling time. When I was going back home and taking my laundry out of the dryer, I met Julli. She was sitting outside on the terrace. I opened the door and asked her when Jan would come back. I noticed the smell of cannabis, so I asked if she was smoking it. I asked her if she could give me a cigarette. She gave me a normal cigarette, not cannabis. I sat down next to her, and we had a small talk. I had curry sauce with bread for dinner. A pack of carrots was starting to rot, so I cooked curry sauce during the daytime. It tasted better than I expected, so I ate too much. I fell asleep without waiting 90 minutes after eating.
