Paying Rent

I adjusted and sanded the canvas stretcher bars to remove wood chips. In the evening, I went downstairs and then paid the rent to Jan. He was sitting on a chair in the yard. I told him that I will leave the Netherlands next Tuesday. He talked about his experience at my parents’ home in Japan. He considered giving a gift to my family members, but I said no worries. I have prepared a lot of heavy Dutch food for them. If you want to give something, please choose something light. I visited the bar Stiefel. I had three glasses of beer.
