Oyster Party
Ten family members and relatives gathered at my parents’ house. My brother-in-law got 50 fresh, large oysters.
My sister grilled them at the vegetable garden. We started it around 1pm and then ended around 6pm. It all happened so fast. My sisters are married with children, and I am still single. I thought they are busy without me. I had some oden( Japanese stew ) that my dad cooked and then soaked in the bathtub. I had a plan for the next day so I went to bed before 8pm. I read a manga book about chaos after the end of the war, repatriation from Manchuria. It made me cry a bit.
