My Birthday
I turned 40 years old yesterday. In the afternoon, my sister and her children came. I went to a local onsen Honoyu with my nephew. He is hyper so I had to keep my eye on him anytime but it was a really happy time. Dutch landlord Jan asked me when I would arrive at the house then I answered, “I am sorry but I am supposed to arrive at our house at midnight.” I visited an izakaya Donguri alone. I enjoyed a variety of yakitori. I left there after an hour. I bought discounted foods like packed sushi at a supermarket right before the closing time. I told funny stories in the Netherlands to my mom. I went to bed midnight.
