Moments from Today
It was a sunny day. I went to the library. On the way there, I heard a car horn. It was Errol’s work car. It was a nice moment of communication. I spent an hour in the restroom reading books. I was able to write a good article about why Japanese people still wear masks even though the Covid pandemic has ended. I visited the bar My Way. The bar owner Rob’s mother, Karin, was there. She asked me how my girlfriend was doing. I told her that she had gone back to Japan. “You must be heartbroken!” she said. I had to laugh. I ordered a tropical cocktail because someone else had ordered it, and I was curious about it. However, the taste was just okay for me. I cooked grilled white fish and sauteed vegetables, and I also had leftover spaghetti for dinner. I fell asleep around 10:30 pm.
Heads-up! These aren't journal entries – they're crafted essays written in English.
Thoughtful, personal, and cross-cultural.
