Making New Cake Art
I received a new camera, the Sony Cyber-shot RX0II. I bought it secondhand for about 70,000 yen. It was of better quality than I expected. In particular, the photo quality is clearly better than that of a GoPro. I started a new daily routine of going to cafes to read books. Today, I went to a cafe called Tomato. I did not know they allowed smoking, so I regretted choosing it. Around 4 pm, I went to get my hair cut. I also stopped by Daiso and a supermarket to buy educational Japanese candy toys for my exhibition opening reception. Later, I went to Chateraise and bought a cake for my new painting because the gallerist requested that I create a new piece for a group exhibition. When I got back home, my sister’s family came to visit. I took a shower and then chopped the cake to take photos for painting materials. Dinner was tempura, and I also had some oden that my father cooked. I talked with my sister about my father’s bad behavior. I fell asleep around 11 pm and had a long, deep nightmare.
