Job Interview

I went to a job interview in Amsterdam at 4:30 pm. The shop was fancier and more girlish than I expected. The owner was a fifty-one-year-old woman. I was able to have a good conversation in English and I hope I gave her a good impression. After that, I had a steamed pork bun and visited three kinds of bars. I enjoyed every bar. I have visited the last bar several times, and the older bartender lady remembered my girlfriend and me. It made me happy. I asked her about her eye disease. Around 9 pm, when I came back home, I met Jan, so I shared what happened today, including the job interview. I fell asleep around 10 or 11 pm.

Heads-up! These aren't journal entries – they're crafted essays written in English.
Thoughtful, personal, and cross-cultural.
