Going to Church and Partying
I woke up at 2 pm to the sound of my MacBook restarting. The transfer from my old MacBook to the new MacBook Air had finished, but the result was not what I expected. I started working on fixing it, and eventually I could not go back to sleep. At 9 am, I visited a Catholic church. It was my very first time attending Sunday mass in Holland. I am a lazy Catholic believer. The mass was conducted in Dutch, so I could not understand most of it, but it reminded me of how good it feels to attend. I decided I will continue going there every Sunday. I returned home and continued my daily routine, including muscle training. I also worked on setting up my new laptop. It was annoying, but it showed me what kind of apps I actually use. I wrote a letter to Hence, the butcher’s owner. I tried to include humor and appreciation, and in the end the letter became quite long. Just before 5 pm, I went to the bar My Way. They were hosting a party with a singer. A bald man (I forgot his name) gave me several beers and a shot of liquor. Usually, he does not talk to me, so I wondered if he was in a good mood or if something lucky had happened to him. The bar owner, Rob, also sang a song. It was loud but fun. I then stopped by the bar Stifel and had a hot sandwich. I did not have a complete meal that day. I fell asleep just before 9 pm.
