Go To Okayama
I headed toward Okayama around 10 am. I had to hurry to get to the nearest station because the train schedule was unclear due to the recent downpour. However, the train arrived smoothly. I reached the express bus stop earlier than I expected. I arrived at Okayama Station just after 2 pm. After leaving my baggage at the hotel, I met up with a friend. We went to Korakuen and a local museum. I enjoyed learning about the life history of Ogata Koan. We went to three different bars. After seeing her off at the station, I went to two more izakayas. One of the izakayas was disappointing. I asked, “Can I have a bottle of beer?” “I don’t have it.” “Can I have tori kamameshi?” “That’s already sold out.” I asked, “Can I have shishamo?” “We do not have that.” Honestly, they might as well have closed. At another bar, I had some oden and ramen noodles. It was okay. I fell asleep just after midnight.
