Gathering With Friends
I went to Utrecht by NS train around 1:30 pm and arrived there around 2:30 pm. The streets in Utrecht were quite crowded. I reached the cafe where I had a meeting with my friends. There were Tomo-san, his wife Risa-san, and his son Hibiki-san, as well as Mariko-san. We talked about many interesting topics. Tomo-san did not know that he needed to keep €4,500 in his business bank account at the end of the year due to freelance visa regulations, so he moved the money immediately. We continued drinking for almost six hours, but I did not get very drunk. Mariko-san and I parted from Tomo-san’s family at Utrecht Station. They said they were going to prepare food for their son. I wondered how demanding it is to raise children in the Netherlands. I heard that their rent costs about €2,000 (367,015 JPY), which I could not afford. Mariko-san got off the train at Amsterdam Station, and I reached home around 10 pm. I had only oatmeal for dinner, which was very healthy. I fell asleep just before 10 pm.
