Church and Cookie.
I went to church for a Sunday mass yesterday. I wanted to give an offering of $1 but I didn’t have the note so I gave $5. After mass, I met Girl Scouts volunteers who were selling cookies on the roadside. I didn’t have any interest in their activity but I wanted to talk to them. I bought a lemon cookie that was $5. I talked with a teenager. My English worked well because she didn’t ask me to repeat what I said. I had fried rice, gyoza, and beer for lunch. I watched a movie “Apartment 407” on a mobile phone. It was based on non-fiction.
