Bar Hopping on a Happy Evening
I did the laundry. Jan is still doing something for house maintenance. I went to the bar Vlaar. I got the idea to move to the bar My Way, so when I finished my first beer, I walked there. There was only one customer, Bert. The bartender offered me a cigarette. She told me that the previous day was her 23rd birthday. We talked about relationships. Bert does not have children and is not married. Mandy said that she is picky, but she has her eye on her personal trainer at the gym. She said he is only 22 years old, but he is more mature than his age. I bought them drinks. It was a calm and fulfilling time. I felt happiness from the bottom of my heart. I had canned baked herring and stir-fried leek and mushrooms and so forth for dinner.
