Arriving in South Korea
I met a family who lives in Amsterdam. We talked with the daughter and her mother on the airplane. They are originally from Iran. She told me that she is going to stay in South Korea for three weeks. I realized how long European people take vacations. I tried using a free eSIM with Bunq. It was much easier to set up than buying a physical SIM card. I appreciated the excellent service from Bunq. I took a taxi to the hotel and arrived just before 9 pm. It was a Hot Pillow Hotel again, but the room was nice. I quickly did my daily tasks, like muscle training, and then went to a Korean bar. I ordered a Korean-style rolled fried egg, but it was too big for me. The price was 13000 KRW (about 1300 JPY). I missed a Japanese izakaya. Anyway, I enjoyed it very much. The bar owner, a woman, gave me a business card. I want to visit there again. I soaked in hot water and thought about how great this kind of bath is compared to just taking a shower. I fell asleep around 3 am.
