Fortune board in Japanese Shrine

An Exhausting Day

I worked hard from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. yesterday. The deadline is coming so I had to hustle to conquer it. Eri assisted my work a bit. In the evening, 6 p.m., we went to an izakaya called Donguri. We had yakitori and deep-fried garlic. We moved to another restaurant, the man ran to us then he said: “I am wondering if I know you, so can you remove your eyeglasses?” I didn’t know him and I felt an abnormal aura from him. Anyway, we had tonpei-yaki and okonomi-yaki. We went to bed at 11 p.m.

Heads-up! These aren't journal entries – they're crafted essays written in English.
Thoughtful, personal, and cross-cultural.
