A Terrifying Day of Injury and Breathing Difficulties

My flu symptoms had improved, so I went to a pho restaurant for breakfast. The broth was fish-based, but the taste was acceptable. I spent the entire day in my hotel room and followed my daily routine, including muscle training. In the evening, I went to a burger shop and had some craft beer. I had dinner at a local restaurant where I usually had breakfast. However, I regretted choosing that place for dinner. I returned to my hotel room and continued drinking. I experimented with a new artwork using an apple. Since the apple was cracked, I tried to keep it away from the ants because there were so many of them in my room. I found a suitable place on a ceiling beam. I was going to hang a plastic bag containing the apples from it, but I forgot that there was a ceiling fan nearby. I injured the back of my right hand. It was extremely painful, but I was relieved that I had not fractured a bone and that the cut was not deep. The accident sobered me up and made me take the situation seriously, so I went to bed. When I woke up around midnight, I went to the bathroom. I started coughing intensely, and it became difficult to breathe. I was genuinely concerned, so I prepared for the possibility that my symptoms might get worse. I searched for a clinic and information on how to call an ambulance in Vietnam. I wrote a message in Vietnamese on a piece of paper: “I cannot breathe. Please call an ambulance for me.” I placed it on the bedside table along with my passport and wallet. Fortunately, I managed to fall asleep, and the coughing did not return. Eventually, it stopped completely. I have to say that it was the most terrifying day of my life.
