A Night Out
I used a projector to project the outlines onto the canvases and drew the initial sketches for two new paintings. In the evening, I went to the bar My Way. It was the weekly dinner event. I was invited by the bar owner, Rob, because he had cheered me up when I was depressed. The menu was chili con carne, and it was quite delicious. Karin sat down next to me, and we talked about several topics: why I was fired from my part-time job, how Karin’s ex-husband, who is Rob’s father, passed away in a car accident last year, and how she has two brothers, but she has not been in contact with one of them for a long time. After that, I joined the game Hitster. It was a music card game. I do not usually like card games, but it was a fun time. Ruud got very drunk and started to say some bad things. He said to the football game on TV, “He is gay! Gay! Gay!” He is normally a gentleman, but that was not good for me, so I told him that it was not good behavior. I left around 9:30 pm, and I did not continue drinking or eating after I came back home. I got into bed just after 10 pm and read some books before I fell asleep.
