A Family Drinking Party
I went to the cafe Yamaneko. An older lady, Kato-san, showed me her art book. It did not seem bad; however, I am not good at commenting on amateur artworks, so all I could say was, “How did you make them?” Honestly, I was not very interested. After I returned home, I worked on a draft blog post. Around 6 pm, my mother and I went out to a Taiwanese restaurant called Aoba for a family drinking party. There were seven people in total. The food was okay, but the cost felt expensive to me. It consisted of some snacks and an herbal hot pot, and the price was 6,400 JPY (37 EUR) per person. We then moved to another bar for a second party. There, my cousin Abe-san and my sister Kana joined us, making a total of nine people. Kana had attended another drinking party earlier, so she was already drunk. My uncle Tatsuaki-san left, and the remaining members moved to another bar. My sister Kana shed some tears because she is struggling with parenting. Anyway, we could have talked forever. Our party ended just before 1 am. My mother and my sister Nina took a taxi together. I fell asleep around 1:30 am without taking a shower.
