Sending a Letter

The price of Bitcoin had fallen sharply following the biggest hack on Binance. I wondered why something seemed to happen every day. Where can I find some peace? Phew! I wrote a letter to my Vietnamese friend An, went to a stationery shop, and sent it. However, the stamp was invalid because I had torn off an important part of it. I had thought it was just a scrap of paper. I had to pay an additional €2.11. I visited a farmers’ market. I paid €1 for the ginger, which I had not been able to afford the previous time. I was happy to keep my promise to the stall owner. I got back home and entered my monthly asset figures. It was complicated and the results were not good, which left me feeling tired. I paid the rent to Jan. I went to Vlaar, but it was a bit too crowded for me. I knew it was Friday. I moved on to My Way, where I had just one bottle of beer, which meant I had managed to drink in moderation. I found discounted salmon fillets at the supermarket, so I steamed them with vegetables for dinner. They cost less than €3 for two fillets. I enjoyed a quiet evening and read a book in bed.
