The Morning After
My condition was not so bad even though I had drunk a lot at the local summer party. In the evening, I went to the cafe Yamaneko. After that, I went straight to the bar Nagomi. I had some small dishes and then moved to the bar Ajia-tei. I asked if they offered bottle-keeping service for white wine. He accepted, but he asked me to keep it a secret so other customers would not know. I laughed and said, “No way, because I have no friends!” I had small shrimp and scallion spaghetti for dinner. I went to bed without taking a shower. I booked a plane ticket to return to the Netherlands. I will stay in Hanoi for two weeks again. The tickets seemed reasonable. I fell asleep around midnight.
