Back To The Netherlands
I arrived at Schiphol Airport around 6 am safely. I was able to go through the immigration gate as an EU ID holder. There was no queue even though all passport gates had long queues, so it was comfortable. I took a break in a restroom inside the airport, then headed toward Castricum. The weather was beautiful. The village scenery reminded me of many memories. When I arrived at my house, Jan was sitting on a chair in the living room, so I knocked on the window, and he opened the door. We talked for a while, and he introduced me to a new housemate, Peter. He is Hungarian and works at JUMBO as a manager. His English is fast, so it was hard to follow his story. My room was renovated by Jan. Astonishingly, he installed motorized window blinds in my room. It was fantastic. He said it cost 2000 EUR. What a super kind offer it was! I did all of my daily routines precisely and unpacked my luggage. Around 5 pm, I visited the bar My Way. The bartender Jessica welcomed me. I gave her a small gift, Pocky, from Vietnam. I met an interesting man, Peter. He said we met at another bar a year ago. I asked where he is from. “From mother,” he said. I laughed a lot. I left there after 6:30 pm and then stopped by a supermarket. I had the two in-flight meals that I brought back for dinner. I went to bed before 10 pm. It was still bright outside.
