Going to a Gemeente
I woke up around 8am. I had yogurt for breakfast. I worked on jobs for clients till noon then I went out to a Gemeente Castricum. Gemeente means kind of a city office in the Netherlands. An immigrant agent had made an appointment for 1:20 pm for me to register my address but a civil servant told me, ‘You need extra documents and make another appointment.’ In the end, I found that I would have to go there again next week. I stopped by several stores and got bed sheets, foods etc. After coming back home, Janine taught me some Dutch. I had beans, bread, olives and cheese for dinner. I drank white wine too much. I fell asleep after midnight.
