Japanese sumo Chanko nabe

Chanko Nabe Bar

We slept for the whole day yesterday because she was still in a bad condition. However, she was getting better in the evening so we went to Goza-no-yu then we visited the chanko-nabe bar. Chanko-nabe means “Hot pot for sumo wrestlers”. The restaurant’s chef used to be a professional sumo wrestler. We had deep-fried chicken and chanko-nabe. These were absolutely great! I met a customer who was sitting at the table next to me, we graduated from the same primary school. It was a rare and crazy encounter, right? We fell asleep after midnight.
