CocaCola trailer, flying birds at the parking of supermarket in Torrance California

Going Shopping

I went to a supermarket at lunchtime yesterday. Almost all people wore masks. I was astonished at the view because Americans don’t like wearing masks. I thought they felt more threatened about the coronavirus than before. On the other hand, I didn’t wear a mask. I got white wine, flushble wet toilet paper(I got a five box!) and so on. I got used to living in this house arrest situation but the deep part of my heart feels anxious. I woke up three times during the night. It isn’t a usual body condition. I had sansai fried chicken bento for dinner with natto and tofu. Stay safe, stay healthy.

Heads-up! These aren't journal entries – they're crafted essays written in English.
Thoughtful, personal, and cross-cultural.
