Watching a Movie: Wicker

I had oatmeal for breakfast. It was a very healthy meal. I went to the movie theater and watched a movie called Wicker. It was not so bad; however, I could hardly understand any of the dialogue. How poor my language skills are! After that, I went to Vlaar bar. I had two different types of beer. I was able to enjoy some quiet time. For dinner, I cooked sliced potatoes and celery with an egg and some other things. I had a fairly quiet evening. While having dinner, I listened to Crime and Punishment. I was astonished by how similar Raskolnikov’s reasoning was to the way some young people today think about elderly people. He believed that an old woman who lent money should die. It reminded me of the attitudes some young people have towards older generations.

Heads-up! These aren't journal entries – they're crafted essays written in English.
Thoughtful, personal, and cross-cultural.
