Lost My Ballpoint Pen

It was my last night in Hanoi. I spent the entire day in my hotel room. During this stay in Vietnam, I had been completely unproductive because I had not been feeling well. I asked the hotel reception to fix the Wi-Fi connection, but their response was slow, which irritated me. In the evening, I visited a craft beer bar again. After that, I went to a local restaurant near my hotel. When I left, I realized that my Lamy ballpoint pen was missing from my pocket. I returned to the hotel, but then went out again to look for it. I asked a member of the restaurant staff if they had found a pen like mine, but they had not. I walked along the road, searching for it, but in the end, I could not find it. I had lost it several times before, but I had always managed to find it again, so I felt a kind of bond with the pen. However, now our bond is gone. I guess everything eventually disappears, right? I had some stuffed bread in my hotel room and went to bed just after 10 pm.
