Gathering with Local People

My father came back from a trip to South Korea. However, we did not exchange a single word. Our relationship has completely broken down. I made an appointment at a dental clinic to have my teeth cleaned. I felt there was a big difference because, in the Netherlands, you cannot usually make an appointment on the same day. I received a thorough cleaning, and the cost was only about €16. It was miraculously cheap. After that, I visited an electronics store and arranged to have my Sony digital camera repaired. I hope it can be repaired at a reasonable price. Then I returned home to pick up some small gifts from South Korea. I visited a bar called Sanaya. It had a nice atmosphere, but I felt uncomfortable because people were smoking. Why is smoking inside bars still allowed in Japan? It feels outdated. Then I moved to another bar called Ajia-tei. I talked with the owner, Oki-san. I gave him a small gift, just as I had given one at Sanaya. I enjoyed the reunion and the pleasant atmosphere. After that, I went to a community center where a gathering for a senior group was being held. I gave Inoue-san some sweets from a convenience store for his 86th birthday. There were about twelve people there, and I talked with many of them. I had a great time, but I got drunk, so time flew by. I fell asleep around 0:30 am as if I had fainted.
