Having a Special Dinner
Just after noon, I went to a supermarket and bought a bouquet for Janine. I gave it to her and said “Happy birthday!” in Dutch. She turned 61 years old. I spent a whole day using social energy. My alcohol consumption has increased again, but my 30 minute drinking rule is still effective. I received a message from a client. I stopped outsourcing such work because managing human resources is stressful. I will handle such small tasks by myself. In the evening, I visited the bar Stiefel. There were very few customers. She showed me photos of how terribly busy it was on Sunday, Easter. She had to restrict the number of customers and spent four hours cleaning up the bar. She offered me a white asparagus dinner. The dish consisted of boiled white asparagus and potatoes topped with cream sauce. The cream sauce contained chopped bacon, and I also found something like roast beef. It was extremely delicious. I bought drinks for Maria and Elsa as a token of my appreciation. I continued drinking at home, but I only had some nuts and cheese. I was satisfied even though the dinner was not very large. Late at night, I saw strong thunder and heard heavy rain.
