Trip to Bergen
I visited a dental clinic near Alkmaar. An unfamiliar female doctor treated me this time. She could not speak English, and I was astonished that a doctor could not speak English in the Netherlands, where people are generally highly educated. I took buses to Bergen and arrived there in about an hour. The scenery reminded me of my memories from a few years ago when I came here with Jan, Janine, and Eri. The hotel was not so bad. After checking in, I took a shower right away (I had not showered for three days in a row, so it felt refreshing!). I found a nice bar called Taverne and went in. The female bartender was fantastically friendly, which made me feel deeply satisfied. I talked with a male bartender in Dutch. He had lived in Amsterdam for over ten years. When I told him that I am Japanese, he said, “Funny!” (grappig). On the way back, I stopped by a supermarket and got some food. I had a croissant and a discounted packed salad, to which I added avocado and imitation crab that I had brought from home. It was a super economical dinner. I drank a whole bottle of white wine and fell asleep around 9 or 10 pm.

I astonished there is a doctor who can not speak English because they are highly educated in general. I moved to Bergen by buses. In an hour, I arrived Bergen. The scenary reminded me of my memory. I came here with Jan, Janine, and Eri for couple of years ago. The hotel was not so bad. Anyway, after checking in the hotel, I took shower at once(I did not take shower for three day in a row so I was refreshed!). I found a nice bar and entered. The bar called Taverne. A female bartender was fantastically friendly so I felt deep satisfaction. I talked a male bartender in Dutch. He used to live Amsterdam for over 10 years. I told him I am a Japanese then he said funny(grappig). I stopped by a supermarket and I got some food. I had croissant, discounted packed salad and I added avocado and immitation crab those which I brought from my house. It was super economic dinner. I drunk up a whole bottle of white wine. I fell asleep around 9 or 10 pm.
