Disappointing Day at Conveyor Belt Sushi
In the morning, my nephew Toki came over by himself. I went through my daily routines, including muscle training and English shadowing, and then went downstairs. My mother, my nephew, and I decided to go to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant called Kappa Sushi. It was an abnormally hot day. I used a sun umbrella, and we walked for about 20 minutes in such harsh weather. I am not a gourmet, but their sushi was of extremely poor quality. Furthermore, their serving speed was slower than that of other sushi restaurants. After lunch, we dropped by a fishing supply shop called Angle, where I bought him a lure for about 1500 yen. We returned home, and then I painted a bento-themed picture for a while. Later, I went out to the cafe Yamaneko. I felt sluggish and wanted to take a nap, but I did not want to waste time. So, I read some books efficiently at the cafe. A young customer who had just come back from a date was sitting at the counter in front of me. He looked clearly depressed. He discussed with the cafe owner how to build a good relationship with women. The owner’s advice sounded reasonable. In the evening, I went to the bar Nagomi. I encountered an unpleasant group of young men. They were talking loudly about their experiences in the sex industry. I felt disgusted, but I must admit that a part of me shares that kind of mindset. However, I want to make an effort to become a more refined and thoughtful man. After that, I moved to another bar called Ajia-tei, and finally, I visited a ramen shop named Hakata-ya. For some reason, the ramen did not taste very good. I wondered if my preferences had changed. It was actually my first time eating ramen during this temporary stay in Japan. I returned home around 9 pm and went straight to bed without taking a shower.
