Reading Too Many Books

There was a rumor from a Japanese manga that the world would end on July 4, 2025, but nothing special happened. I went to the cafe Yamaneko. I read a book for an hour and then stopped by Aeon. At Optician Tanaka, I had my glasses cleaned and bought a cleaning cloth. Just after 5 pm, I visited the bar Takomon. I did not feel hungry, so I only had a bottle of beer. Then I moved to the bar Sanaya. The bar owner asked me if I would bring someone to attend the piano concert this month. I had umeboshi-simmered sardines and some other dishes. I kept reading a book there. On the way home, I dropped by a supermarket and got some food, which I ate at home. I talked with my mom about the unfortunate situation children are in today. When I was a kid, I could swim in the river near my maternal grandparents’ house, but now there is no place quite as nostalgic and magical. I went to bed around midnight.
